Come along and meet the friendly bunch at Brisbane Botanical Artists! It’s a lovely opportunity to connect with fellow artists, enjoy some relaxed social time, and share our love of botanical art. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, there’s always something to learn, tips to share, and inspiration to discover from one another. Most of all, it’s about enjoying good company and being part of a welcoming creative community.

Whether you're just picking up a brush, delving into pencils, or already painting fine watercolours, our group is designed to spark inspiration, build skill, and deepen connection. 

We aim to encourage artists of all levels, novice or seasoned, to share, practice and promote botanical art, and bring together people with a passion for plants.

We share our tips and tricks to other members to further pursue their love for drawing and painting the botanical world.

We believe in the power of observation, carefully looking at a plant’s structure, texture, colour and the beauty of connection to our natural world, to each other. In doing so, we not only create art, but we become plant-storytellers. Through your art you can bring to light hidden details, endangered flora, or simply the quiet elegance of the everyday garden.
